Katherine Rainey, has over twenty-five (25) years of experience in various fields of real estate as a landman, paralegal, real estate sales agent, and title insurance escrow officer. She has experience in the review of documents, surveys and maps for mineral or royalty reservations, Oil & Gas Leases, ROW easements, fences, pipelines, and  lien encumbrances. She has worked on projects as small as a city lot to twenty (20) section ranches in San Angelo, Midland, Permian Basin, Delaware Basin and West Texas.

She is very familiar with the use of real estate documents including curative documents, the requirements, and process to clear title. She has also created Abstracts of Title for various types of land  projects.

Katherine began her real estate career in a Texas title company  as a Title Plant Manager. She managed and was involved in the building of land title plants in the three (3) largest counties of Texas.  After becoming an Escrow Officer, she performed title searches, created title run sheets and Abstracts of Title for various types of real estate transactions and projects.

Katherine Rainey holds a current Texas Real Estate License and has managed multiple real estate investment properties.

Katherine’s most recent landman projects have been in the Permian Basin and the Delaware Basin. She is looking forward to expanding her business and providing  research, for projects in the new developing Cline Shale play area.
